Case Study

To promote the Home Entertainment release of Transformers: Dark of The Moon, my team and I created a mobile app for iOS, Android, and Facebook that utilized the Foursquare API to enable fans to align themselves with the Autobots or Decepticons and then battle each other for control of real-world locations.

Each day, the Transformers social media accounts would announce a featured battle zone of the day (the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower, for instance) - fans would then use the app to fortify and defend each location in exchange for Transformers-related prizes as well as bragging rights on the game’s global leaderboard.
